Meals

Every evening Elma will prepare an outstanding 3-course dinner which will give you enough energy to get you up the mountains again the next day, either by bike, on foot.

She understands food and flavours, knows how to satisfy hungry cyclists and provides the kind of home cooking you wish you had the time to prepare. Every meal is a feast and cyclists return and re-book every year to get more of Elma’s cooking.

We serve  as many meals as possible with fresh vegetables from our garden supplemented with local products. Delicious, healthy and inspired home-cooking will be one of the highlights of your stay at Les Deux Vélos. We all eat out on the patio together (weather permitting), or in the cosy dining room

Of course breakfast is very important for cyclists and walkers, therefore we serve more than a typical “French breakfast”, in order to provide you with the necessary fibres and carbohydrates.

Our breakfast contains of: fresh home-made bread, spreads/home-made jams/cheese/ham, yoghurt, cereals/cruesli, fresh fruitsalad, coffee/tea/milk/fruitjuice, and usually a ‘hot’ supplement like pancakes, croissants, eggs and/or porridge.

 

Vegetarian meals or any other special requirements  are not a problem, please let us know in advance.
